Grimm's Teutonic Mythology

Transcribed by Aaron Myer

Grimm's Teutonic Mythology Translation Project

Despite the fact that we have presented the English translation of Grimm's Teutonic Mythology here, there remains a great number of quotes in this work that have not been translated. Therefore we have begun a project to translate these quotes. All translations from this project directly follow the text that was translated and are enclosed in double brackets [[quote here]]. If you are interested in helping us with this project click here for more information.

We would like to thank the following people who have contributed their time and skills to help with the Grimm's Translation Project. Their help is very much appreciated.

Hildiwulf - Tranlsations of Old High German, Gothic, Anglo Saxon, Swedish, Old Frisian, Norwegian and Danish translation.
Alfta Lothursdottir - Old Norse translation.
Helios De Rosario Old Spanish translation.
Yves Kodratoff - Old French and French

Fonts

In order to view some text in this work properly you will need to download and install a few special fonts. These are the Greek font and six versions of a Runic Font. The Runic fonts are all very small, about 20k each. As with all fonts we are not responsible for any problems resulting from installing the font but, you should have no problems as they are all True Type fonts. You can download a zip file containing the fonts by clicking here.

You Did It!! Grimm's Teutonic Mythology IS Back In Print!!

Some time ago we urged you to tell Dover Publications you wanted them to republish this important work, and they listened! You proved that together we can accomplish what we set our minds to. Congratulations!
