Northvegr Foundation Socio-Political Stance
The Northvegr Foundation states without reservation that the
genuine tradition of Heithni is not the same as that which is promoted by some
Asatru or Odinist organizations, some of which are little more than fronts for
radical racist and separatist ideals, and as such have nothing what-so-ever
to do with any genuine Northern European Heithinn spiritual tradition. We further
state our unreserved opposition to all groups that abuse the Heithinn tradition
by combining it with racism, separatism, racialism or any other euphemism for
making race a factor in the Heithinn tradition. Such groups are not representative
of any genuine Heithinn tradition.
We further state that Heithni is a self-contained, historically based spiritual tradition that has no need of the inclusion of New Age and Occult ideals. As such ideals are often antithetical to the world-view and ethic of Heithni, their inclusion serves only to dilute and destroy the beauty and efficacy of the genuine Heithinn tradition.
We reject equally the injection of New Age, Universalist/Occult ideals or racist/separatist ideals, into the Heithinn tradition.
