22 August 2001
We are very pleased to bring you, once again, the edited Bellows translation
of the Poetic Edda now up in the Northern European
Studies section. There was a dispute as to whether or not the Bellows
translation was in the public domain or not. We decided it best to take it down
until it could be verified as to whether or not it was actually in the public
domain. We have since found that it is indeed in the public domain and are happy
to be able to bring it back to the MSR web site. This version of the Bellows
translation was edited by Ari Oðinnsen. Enjoy!

Leidstjarna Issue #0
20 June 2001
Previously we had three sections here called Bragi's Well, Heathen Thought and
Book and Literary Reviews. These sections were intended to display articles,
poems, fiction and reviews by our fellow Heathens. Since that material is now
generally submitted to our journal, Leidstjarna
we thought it would be better to include all the material in these three sections
in a pre-issue of Leidstjarna. It's not only more convenient to have them all
gathered into one issue but, as Leidstjarna is one of our most popular sections
here at the MSR site, it gives these articles, poems, reviews and works of fiction
more exposure which they most assuredly deserve. So be sure to check out and
enjoy the material in Leidstjarna
Issue #0 and look for the latest issue of Leidstjarna to come out in
the next few days.
