we have excerpts from the Saga Book of the Viking Club Society Vols. 7 and 8.
This is a publication of the prestigious Viking Club Society whose purpose was
the study of Northern literature and antiquities. We begin with "The Voluspá,
The Sibyl’s Lay in the Edda of Sćmund" by W. F. Kirby. For
the time being we plan to add other excerpts from this work but do intend to
eventually bring the whole book to you.

Grimm's Fairy Tales in Parallel English and German

We are very pleased to announce that we will be offering Grimm's Fairy Tales
in English with German parallel text in the Northern
European Studies section. We want to take the opportunity to give our
appreciation to Yves Kodratoff for the enormous amount of work he did in providing
us with these texts. This will be an ongoing project here at the Midhnott Sol
as we plan to add the German text to three more tales each night until we have
all 200+ tales updated.

We are very pleased to announce what we consider an important milestone here
at the Midhnott Sol Regintroth. We now have the final two chapters of Volume
two of Grimm's Teutonic Mythology posted, titled "Destiny and Well-Being"
and "Personifications" in the Northern
European Studies section. We are now
at the half way point on Grimm's with only two more volumes to go. Many congrads
to Godhi Loptsson at this midway point of a great accomplishment in transcribing.

of knowledge of our ways we are now in the process of adding plain text file
versions of all of the text contained at the site. As of 14 April 2000, we have
two chapters of Grimm's Teutonic Mythology available in plain text files but
we are working to add more plane text files each day and we will continue to
do so until the entire site is available in plain text files. So if you don't
see something you are interested in, in plain text files, check back soon because
sooner or later we will have it available. Please keep in mind that, although
we offer these plain text files, all copyrights still apply where applicable.
