As far as we know we are the only site on the web where you can find all 209 Tales in an easy to view HTML format. The Swastika: A History

Also in the Northern European Studies section and in the Reclaiming the Holy Sun Wheel, we have the first pages of The Swastika by Thomas Wilson, Curator, Department of Prehistoric Anthropology, U.S. National Museum in 1894. We will be trying til bring you 3 more pages each day from this important work on the history of the Swastika, which includes over 400 illustrations until we have the first section of the book posted.

We are once again very pleased to be bringing you another important Heathen work, the Prose Edda also known as Snorri's Edda. We have obtained a public domain copy of Rasmus B. Anderson's 1897 translation of the Prose Edda. We now have the preface and introduction up and are working on bringing the rest of this important work to you as soon as possible. This book is a retelling of the Eddas that is geared toward a younger audience. We are very pleased to announce that we have obtained public domain copies of Grimm's Fairy Tales. These are not the sanitized watered down versions that are so often packaged as Grimm's. We have 209 tales that we will be bringing you in the Northern European Studies section. Each day from now until late in the month of April we will add three more tales to the section until we have all 209 posted.

Today we are opening a new section that will be devoted to aiding those who are new to Asatru or who want to find out more about it. Starting out we have the Northern Way FAQ which will answer some common questions that many new to our ways have. Also we have a short reading list for beginners. Check back soon for a recommended course of study for those new to Heathenism and who wanting to learn how to practice our ways.

Reclaiming the Holy Sun Wheel

This new section is about the Sun Wheel. It is our intention to reclaim the Sun Wheel, one of our most holy symbols in Heathenism. We will state up front that we have no ties what so ever with racist or hate groups or propaganda. Our purpose in Reclaiming the Holy Sun Wheel is to work towards reclaiming our holy symbol from those who misused and abused it and to educate the general public about it's thousands of years of history.
