Ic þis giedd wrece      bi me ful geomorre,
minre sylfre sið.      Ic þæt secgan mæg,
hwæt ic yrmþa gebad,      siþþan ic up weox,
niwes oþþe ealdes,      no ma þonne nu.

ærest min hlaford gewat      heonan of leodum
