œrela-fullr, a. raging, raving, (-full grimd móður þinnar);
-læti, n. pl. ravings;
-sótt, f. madness.
œsa (-ta, -tr), v. to stir up, excite; œ. úfrið, to stir up war; œ. e-n fram, to egg on; impers., œsti storminn svá, at, the storm became so violent, that; refl., œsast, to be stirred up, swell (vötn œsast, eldr œsist).
