Books
Obtainable at Amazon.com UK
A New Introduction to Old Norse
This is a three volume series published by the Viking Society for Northern
Research. I have these books and they are excellent and I highly recommend them.
Don't expect to get them any time soon though. You may have to wait months to
get your order filled so order now and get ready to wait. It took over 3 months
to get one of the books in this series. However, they are worth the wait.

An Introduction to Old Norse by E. V. Gordon
The old standard. Very hard to get through without prior experience or access
to someone who knows the language better. It is still worth getting, but I suggest
going through the courses at the Old Norse For beginners web site and getting
A New Introduction To Old Norse first. It is out of print but you should be
able to find easily find copies at Amazon.com
UK's “z-shops” or at www.bookfinder.com.
It is also available at the Oxford
University Press site.

Dictionary of Old English Project
A project by the Centre for Medieval Studies at the University of Toronto. The
Dictionary of Old English was conceived by Angus Cameron, its founding editor,
as an historical dictionary in the tradition established by Sir James Murray
for the Oxford English Dictionary. The Dictionary of Old English is based on
records written in English between 600 and 1150 A.D.

Old English at the University of Calgary
This is the home of English 401 and English 403, University of Calgary courses
in the Old English language and Old English literature constructed by Murray
McGillivray. English 401 and 403 are offered as Internet-based courses. Students
who register in the Internet versions of the courses do not need to be on the
University of Calgary campus at any time, so the courses can be "attended"
from anywhere in the world where there is an Internet connection.

Latin
Lector Latinus
Lector Latinus was designed by Abram Ring to interface with William Whitaker's “Words,” an electronic Latin dictionary. Lector Latinus will open any text file (.txt) or rich text file (.rtf) and allow the user to look up Latin words by double right-clicking on the word. A large library of free public domain Latin texts is included on the Lector Latinus CD; and, with the new Text Search feature, you can search this entire collection in a matter of seconds to find whole or partial words and phrases. Wildcard searches are also supported. The built-in “Words” dictionary analyzes the form with all possible parsings (or grammatical descriptions) and gives a brief definition (for each lexical root). A second built-in dictionary has etymological information and displays macrons (long marks) for all headwords.
