THE FLATEY BOOK

Transcriber note:  As usual I am always proud to present a work to the web for all to see and learn from, and usually I go to great pains to make sure my text is correct as far as spellings and such.  This text, and the Haukbok text unfortunately, will possibly have more mistakes than I will usually allow.  The Icelandic and Danish texts from the book I was working were in a cursive type which made it difficult at times to make out certain letters.  The problem was with the

letters u and v.  Many times I could not differentiate between the two and unfortunately I was in the process of moving and my dictionaries were nicely packed away.  So I ask that those whose knowledge of Icelandic and Danish exceeds my own, to help me out here.  If any mistakes in

the text are found as far as the spelling is concerned, please feel free to contact me and let me know so I can correct the text.  As usual if anybody has comments on the text feel free to let me know also.
