Not too long ago Aunty Alfta decided to dedicate herself to Nerthus Amma. Being dedicated to Mother Earth, Aunty Alfta soon found she had an unavoidable desire to learn to cook Northern European recipes. Of course Aunty Alfta's cooking experience before this amounted to heating a can of Ravioli on the stove so it was soon obvious that Aunty Alfta's “adventures” might just as well be misadventures!! Despite that Aunty Alfta decided to forge ahead in the grand tradition of her ancestors. And what's more she decided to make a record of that adventures (and misadventures!) for the whole world to see.

So come along and perhaps we'll have a laugh or two, and hopefully you'll come to love Northern cooking as Aunty Alfta has and perhaps you might even learn a thing or two as well.
