Background of the Porthole Effect
by Tom Bearden

Circa 1999, published in 2000, Bearden discovered  that every scalar potential consists of a harmonic set of special EM wave pairs --- but they must be reinterpreted from Whittaker's 1903 wavepair decomposition which used bidirectional longitudinal EM waves in 3-space.  In the new interpretation, each wavepair consists of a longitudinal EM wave converging to the source dipole from the time domain and being absorbed by the charges of the dipole, rigorously coupled with an emitted longitudinal EM wave emitted in 3-space from the charges of the dipole.  Powerful support for the reinterpretation is contained in a quantum field theory argument by Mandl and Shaw nearly three decades ago.  Further, in particle physics, it is well-known since the 1950s discovery of broken symmetry that any dipole is a broken symmetry in its exchange with the active vacuum.  By the very definition of broken symmetry, this means that virtual photon energy (nonobservable EM energy) from the vacuum is absorbed by the charges of a dipole, transduced into observable form by those charges, and re-emitted in observable EM energy form.  Since it is well-known that time is not an observable, then the reinterpretation is consistent with the known vacuum asymmetry of the dipole.

In the time domain alone, there can only be longitudinal EM waves (time-polarized EM waves, or "scalar" waves as sometimes labeled) since there is only a single dimension in which the energy can vary, and that is along the line of motion in the time domain.  The longitudinal EM wave emitted in 3-space by the dipole (in the pairing) is nonobservable of itself, as is the input time-polarized EM longitudinal wave in that pairing.  However, as Mandl and Shaw strongly argue, the combination of a time-polarized photon and a longitudinally polarized photon (in 3-space) is observable as the instantaneous scalar potential.

By considering waves to be summations of their constituent photons, one arrives at my reinterpretation of Whittaker's decomposition.  Thus the new interpretation is consistent with the asymmetry findings of particle physics and with the photon polarization and photon combination findings of quantum field theory.

This means that by using scalar potentials, one is using sets of paired time--polarized EM wave/longitudinal 3-space EM polarized wave couplets.  So use of a stress potential uses and opposing half set of 3-space longitudinally polarized EM waves and also its concomitant opposing half-set of time-polarized longitudinal EM waves simultaneously.  Changes impressed upon the potentials (i.e., fields made by changing the potentials) thus represent an external dynamics absolutely determined by the internal substructures and vice versa.

So now we may speak of "time-domain pumping" in the optical sense, since "pumping" actually is "squeezing" when impressed in common terms.

In very simple terms, we can now "squeeze'" a particle or mass in the time domain, as it is flowing through time.  The "time-stress squeeze" can then generate a backwards time-force, accomplishing time-reversal of the mass back to a previous physical state.  For bosons this is acceptable by the Pauli exclusion principle.  For fermions, it is acceptable (1) if they are affected in even numbers, and (2) if these even numbers of fermions act as quasi-bosons.  The latter means that the law of attraction and repulsion of charges must be reversed, unless something like Cooper pairs is utilized. For our purpose we are not interested in superconductivity and Cooper pairs.

However, time-reversal and reversal of the law of attraction and repulsion of charges is simple in the "time-domain pumping" situation.  The pumping occurs a priori after the mass m has absorbed a photon or photons, turning into masstime rather than mass.  Since the time-portion of this masstime is now more intense (has greater "pressure" or stress than the previous masstime state), then the "time-force" or gradient in the time stress is reversed back to the previous physical state.  So when the excited masstime state decays back to mass by photon emission, the mass is returned to the last previous quantal state, along with all its components.

As another photon is absorbed, the process repeats, moving back yet one more previous state.  This is how the mass can be time-reversed when exposed to "time-domain pumping".

As an analogy, suppose we have some water flowing through a rubber  hose, and then suddenly pound (squeeze) it very rapidly.  From the squeeze point, the incoming water will be sharply reversed momentarily and will flow backwards against the now-lower pressure back along the hose.  If very rapid continual pounding (squeezes) are used, water will progressively move back against the source pressure.

Since Maxwell wrote a purely material fluid flow theory, then the electromagnetic energy has to behave in complete analogy with fluid dynamics.  Anything fluids can do, can be done with EM energy and EM energy flow.  Since the photon interaction creates the flow of a mass through time, it can also create the back-flow of a mass through time.  What happens is that the rest of the universe proceeds in forward time as normal, but the "time-pumped" mass constituent reverses it physical state back along its previous states, thus being time-reversed back to a previous state.

All of this can be accurately expressed in O(3) symmetry electrodynamics, but not in the standard U(1) symmetry electrodynamics.

There are other particulars, but that is it.

The entire body mass and all components of it are moving through forward time normally, with the exception of certain deep actions taken by the cellular regenerative system, which uses the above procedure (within its limitations) to slowly time-reverse cellular states of damaged cells back to a previous healthy condition.  In biology this is called "dedifferentiation" -- returning of the cell back to a more primitive (earlier) state.  The physics term is "time reversal" or "phase conjugation".  Becker showed the process is very real, and that cells can be both dedifferentiated and redifferentiated by the regenerative control system, which is an electrical system.  Becker failed to completely elucidate the cellular control system, because he only had U(1) EM available, and it is inadequate for the task.

Now we can understand the porthole effect.  From all the forward time actions within the body, there are EM emissions from the body.  What we usually call a "transverse EM wave" or model it as such, is actually a change to a potential, or in other words is a rhythmic dynamic envelope imposed upon an internal structure of the reinterpreted Whittaker wavepairs.  Contrary to the classical EM assumption of the EM wave moving in a flat spacetime, it is always moving in a curved spacetime since the energy density of 3-space is changing and that constitutes spacetime curvature a priori.

In short, we also have a concomitant LW time-polarized wave accompanying the so-called transverse EM wave in 3-space, because the "wave in 3-space" is actually longitudinally polarized, as shown by Whittaker and remaining in the re-interpretation.

So by setting up opposing 3-space EM waves, we are also setting up opposing time-polarized EM waves, and we are time-pumping and creating time-stressing (time charging).  The decay of that time-charging results in time-reversal of the time-pumped mass.

Back to the so-called transverse EM wave emissions from the body, now that we are aware of the reinterpreted nature (paired scalar and longitudinal EM waves).  It is known that in any emission of photons from a dielectric, the entire dielectric participates in each and every emission.  This also follows from the reinterpreted paired LW substructuring of all potentials and waves in the body, so that every part of the body interacts with every other part.  Again the reinterpretation is consistent.

So we envision the body as a great ship with portholes and windows in them. Inside the ship, a very great number of EM and charge interactions occur, continuously.  Every single bit and form and dynamic of that internal dynamics, participates and affects and controls the emission of each and every photon escaping through any porthole.

In short, the emissions from the internal machinery, precisely characterize even the finest detail in that dynamics, by the frequency, phasing, dynamics, etc. of the "ordinary" EM, which also catches the reinterpreted Whittaker structuring and dynamics, including both the time and 3-space domain dynamics.

It directly follows that any and every body disorder or cellular disorder, down to the finest level including the genetics, is a delta in the overall escaping EM radiation, i.e., a deviation from normal.  So we may arbitrarily separate that "emission spectrum" into a "normal" portion and an "abnormal" portion.  In our previous "engine" concepts (which remain totally valid), this is the business of a "normal" engine component and a "delta" or "deviation from normal" component.

It follows that if we could time reverse all those dynamics ongoing inside the ship, we would time-reverse both (1) the "normal" engines and matter states and dynamics, and (2)  the "delta" component deviations from normal.

Time-reversing the normal component just rejuvenates; i.e., makes the time-reversed cells and genetics a little younger (affecting even the telomeres, e.g., which thus accomplishes true rejuvenation).  Time-reversing the delta component, moves it back along its "path of growth", which means it now exhibits a "path of decay to zero".

So the time-reversed body will be rejuvenated a bit, and its diseases and deltas will be cleared back to the physical state where it was normal.

Thus cancer -- which was a forward-time dedifferentiation of a damaged but otherwise normal cell -- is reversed right back to the damaged normal cell (back before the "promotion" process occurred) and then further on back to an undamaged and normal cell.

This is the way the Priore device worked, but very slowly because the time charging and time-reversal effects were small and required hours of irradiation at a few frequencies.

Now, however, if we accurately record the emitted spectrum in a very wide bandwidth but "large number of frequencies" manner, we come up with the emitted signal expression much like an ultrawideband transmitter's waveset. The key is to use a large number of frequencies, capturing the dynamics of each.  But this is very, very similar to ultrawideband (UWB) radar, and so the technology is already available.

If we then feedback the UWB signal into the body, we provide Whittaker's 1903 bidirectional LW waveset and also the reinterpreted time-polarized EM waveset in the time domain.  Not only that, but if we view all those processes and dynamics in the body as if in a vast array of mirrors, then the input signals precisely return back to the original sites and dynamics. In short, we are simply using the inverse of the fact that the emissions from a dielectric are participated in by every point in the dielectric.  If we use the exact emitted spectra, then the signals return back through all the internal dynamics BECAUSE OF THE TIME-PUMPING EXISTING IN THE COMBINED BODY EMISSION SPECTRA AND RE-FED RETURN SPECTRA, and therefore the precise time-reversal.

If we amplify the fed-back spectra, the action is more intense.  Too much amplification could rather instantly kill the patient.  So the degree of amplification must be very controlled, and animal experiments must be used to work out the exact methodology and procedures so that they are safe for treatment of the patient.

In short, this is a direct and very rapid method of time-charging --- in very precise and rapid manner -- every single part of the mass being so "irradiated" and pumped in 4-space.  We get 3-space pumping for time-reversal of the 3-space waves, which decomposes to precise time-reversal of both the time-polarized and 3-space LW polarized components (viewed in the new interpretation).

Voila!  In about 30 seconds of intense stress (fairly well amplified pumping) or a minute or two of discomfort (weakly amplified pumping) throughout the entire body, the time-charges (both spatial and time potential changes or 3-space stress and time-stress changes) occur upon every tiniest piece of mass in the body, even upon the atomic nuclei and the quarks and gluons in the nucleons.

After the pumping irradiation ceases, the time-charges continue the time-pumping process everywhere throughout the body, over about the next week.  A week later, a second treatment is induced, and a week after that a third is considered.  It should never be necessary to exceed three irradiations each two with a week between them.

This process or very close to it -- without understanding the mechanisms at all -- was actually originated in Germany and is also used in France today. The effectiveness has been limited somewhat, because of the lack of understanding.  If the pump waves are of insufficient bandwidth or care in reconstruction, it is analogous to a very sloppy UWB radar, which will not do the job nearly as effectively as a properly designed one.

At any rate, this is the essence of the Porthole concept, and what makes it work.  Properly developed, it would be a great advance and extension of the Priore process, much more rapid, and particularly suited to emergency treatment of mass casualties when terrorist weapons of mass destruction are unleashed on American cities {12}.  It is not a matter of if, but of when, such attacks occur, and millions of Americans will be lying in the streets and dying, with no hope of medical treatment since in that case triage will be the order of the day.  The threat is massive, as I have detailed elsewhere.
