Document Titles

LYX (like LATEX) considers the title -- which may contain the actual title, the author, the date, and even an abstract of a paper -- to be a separate part of the document.

Go back to your newfile.lyx document and make sure it's using the Article text class.3.4 Type a title on the first line, and change the line to the Title environment. On the next line, type your name and change it to the Author environment. On the next line, write the date in the Date environment. Type a paragraph or two summarizing your document using the Abstract environment. Now see how it looks when printed.

Exercise: Fix the title, date, and author in example_raw.lyx
