Jay and Jen.
Bill.
You're wanting to know more about me. Meet my wife,
Jennifer. Meet our
son. Meet my brother and his
family
I'm supposing that's not enough. You're wondering, "who's this rootaction.net freak and what makes him tick." Well, too bad :)
- I work for Tandem, as an operating systems programmer for fault-tolerant systems. Tandem was acquired in 1998 by Compaq, now part of the New HP.
- I was a systems programmer for Sector7, USA. They are experts in legacy migrations from VAX/VMS and other proprietary architectures to current technologies.
- I like astronomy. I even take pictures.
- I wrote Lorien, a multiuser textual chat system derived from haven.
- I wrote Track, a time/cost-code accounting system based in UNIX shell.
- I wrote and use an intrusion detection system called gatekeeper.
- I have provided release testing and various patches (sis900 ethernet and Alpha ISA DMA) to the OpenBSD Operating System. I keep trying to offer equipment...
- I provide network support and UNIX/Linux/BSD consultancy services for small businesses. Inquire within.
- I host the web site (but develop 0% of the content) for a Summer Musical for Children
