Norse Myths and Legends

        This book is a book that is quite good for parents to read to children. It's large size, glossy pages and full color illustrations make it perfect for this task. Ardagh's style of writing is tailor-made for reading to children as well. The text is inaccurate in some places but this is easily corrected since the parent can point out the inaccuracies and this gives the parent an opportunity to expand on the text. There are very few books today that function well for reading to children but this one fits the bill nicely, at least until such time as Heathen writers and artists produce such a book. If you have a child and would like to read them some of the most popular tales of the North then you might just find this book fills your need.
